Environmental Hero Award
The Schuylkill Center is pleased to introduce its Environmental Hero Award.  The award was created as our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the ordinary people who make an extraordinary difference in our community.  The Environmental Hero award will be given quarterly to a local person, business, or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to our environment and/or wildlife.

Environmental Hero Award, Winter 2010
Awarded to Rich Giordano in recognition of his longstanding commitment to the protection and preservation of our local environment, and for his work on behalf of the Upper Roxborough Reservoir Restoration Project.

Do you know an environmental hero?
Our next Environmental Hero award will be given in June, 2010.  To nominate a local person, business, or organization, please send us a brief description of your nominee, and tell us what makes them an environmental hero.  Please limit your description to 200 words, and don’t forget to include your name and contact information.  Please send your nomination on or before May 15, 2010 to:
