Birders of all levels are invited on his hike through the Schuylkill Center lead by Sandy Grimwade from the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club.
The Schuylkill Center is a great 365-acre birding spot with a variety of habitats, including meadows, woodland, ponds and streams. The E-bird checklist shows that 162 species have been observed at the Center. This birding hike is about 2.6 miles and takes about 2 hours. The terrain is mostly well-maintained woodland paths with a few steep descents and ascents.
