Support one-of-a-kind wilderness
The Schuylkill Center relies entirely on the generosity of members and donors to conserve the largest privately owned wilderness within Philadelphia city limits. Donors help to protect native flora, habitat, and the streams that originate on our property and feed the Schuylkill River: the source for drinking water for our region. Our open space is also a living classroom for thousands of Greater Philadelphia K-12 schoolchildren. They explore nature and learn environmental science and ecology concepts through hands-on programs.
In addition to Land Restoration and Environmental Education programs, the Center is well-known for its native species Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic and site-specific Environmental Art program. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization we operate solely on private donations. Because we are not a city, state, or federal park, we are not supported by any tax revenues.
Individuals, small businesses, and institutional donors can support our mission in a number of ways:
Thank you!
