Whether your troop is working towards a badge or just looking for a fun program, our 365 acres of wilderness is the place to go. In each program, experienced environmental educators will use hands-on activities and guided hikes to teach scouts about the natural world.

Whether your troop is working towards a badge or just looking for a fun program, our 365 acres of trails and habitats is the place to go. In each program, experienced environmental educators will use hands-on activities and guided hikes to teach scouts about the natural world.

Registration and Program Information:

  • A large portion of all scout programs are held outside (weather permitting). Scouts should wear weather-appropriate clothing and good hiking shoes.
  • Chaperones may attend programs free of charge. We cannot, however, accommodate siblings of scouts.
  • All scout programs must be scheduled at least one month in advance and require a minimum of ten scouts or $150.
  • One environmental educator is provided for each program. A chaperone or chaperones are required to stay in order to adhere to the girl scout program ratios.
  • Programs are capped at twenty scouts max.
  • Tiger Scout Programs

    Length of Program: 2 hours

    Cost: $15/scout (10 scouts or $150 minimum)

  • Bear Scout Programs

    Length of Program: 2 hours

    Cost: $15/scout (10 scouts or $150 minimum)

      • Fur, Feathers, and Ferns

  • Webelo Scout Programs

    Length of Program: 2.5 hours

    Cost: $15/scout (10 scouts or $150 minimum)

      • Into the Wild

      • Into the Woods

  • Merit Badge Programs

    Length of Program: 6 hours*

    Cost: Cost varies by program. Call for details. (10 scouts min, 20 scouts max per program)

      • Bird Study

      • Environmental Science*

      • Insect Study (April-October)

      • Nature

      • Plant Science (April-October)

      • Reptiles and Amphibians (April-October)

    *Program is a two-day program for four hours each day.

    Notes on Merit Badge Programs: Our instructors are registered merit badge counselors and will be able to sign blue cards at the completion of the program. Many badges, however, require scouts to make long-term observations or to pursue knowledge or skills that may not be possible due to time constraints. Therefore, for many of our merit badge programs, scouts will be required to complete certain requirements prior to the start of the program in order to have their blue cards signed.

  • Brownie Programs

    Length of Program: 2 hours

    Cost: $15/scout (10 scouts or $150 minimum)

    • Bugs

    Completes step 2-5

    • Senses

    Completes step 1, 2, 3, and 5

    • Hiker

    Completes all 5 steps

    • WOW! Wonders of Water Journey

    Program is meant as an enhancement to the WOW Journey but does not complete it.

    • Letterbox

    Completes step 1, 2, 3, and 5

  • Junior Programs

    Length of Program: 2 hours

    Cost: $15/scout (10 scouts or $150 minimum)

    • Animal habitats

    Completes steps 1-4

    • Get Moving! Journey

    Program is meant as an enhancement to the Get Moving! Journey but does not complete it.

  • Cadette Programs

    Length of Program: 2 hours

    Cost: $15/scout (10 scouts or $150 minimum)
