Giving Tuesday
Preserving Our Past, Nurturing Our Future—Support Philadelphia’s Nature Center!
The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is asking for your support to provide vital funding to care for wildlife, maintain and restore hundreds of acres of forest and meadow, and inspire the next generation of nature’s heroes.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve reached our matching gift goal for Giving Tuesday — and we couldn’t be more excited!
With your support, the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education has raised $9,812, which has been doubled up to $5,000 thanks to our matching gift — bringing our total to $14,812! Your contributions are making a lasting impact in our mission to build meaningful connections between people and nature.
But here’s the exciting part: we’ve now set a new stretch goal of $20,000, and we’re already at 74% of that target! This stretch goal is a new aspiration to continue the momentum and enable us to keep up all of our critical work providing lifesaving care for wildlife, expanding our educational offerings, and inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.
Join us in making this Giving Tuesday unforgettable! Every dollar counts, and with your support, we can reach new heights. Thank you for your generosity!

Wildlife
For wildlife in Philadelphia, there is only one emergency room, hospital, and rehabilitation center.
Help support the work we do.
Support Our WildlifeNature
The Schuylkill Center is the steward of the largest privately owned wilderness in Philadelphia. We are the lungs of the city, our tall trees cleaning air and holding floodwater. The streams that originate on our property feed the Schuylkill River: the source of drinking water for our region.
Support Our TreesEducation
At the Schuylkill Center, nature is a teacher. Thousands of Philadelphia schoolchildren visit us on field trips. Help us educate tomorrow’s champions for nature.
Support Our MissionAs a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization we operate solely on private donations. Because we are not a city, state, or federal park, we are not supported by any tax revenues.
Thank you!
Your support preserves nature and share its wonders with our community. Questions? Contact the Director of Development for more information about donations at the Schuylkill Center.
