Consider the Fungus – exclusive movie screening

Come to Upper Roxborough for an evening screening of WHYY’s newest documentary, Consider the Fungus. Fungi have been enjoying quite the pop culture moment, with appearances everywhere from high fashion to prestige television. But while mushrooms will likely prove to be a passing trend on a broad scale, there are those for whom fungi are a lifelong calling. In this half-hour documentary special, we will meet dedicated amateurs and professionals who together are building a deeper understanding of an appreciation for fungi.

We’ll tie in some trivia and a fascinating fungi specimen table to get up close and personal.

No outside food or drinks permitted. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase onsite.
