Immerse yourself in the world of plants and conservation by becoming a Greenhouse Gardener Volunteer.
Your hands-on contributions will nurture a vibrant collection of plants in our greenhouse, preparing them for the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education’s Native Plant Sale.
- Plant Care: Nurture plants through potting, pruning, and ensuring optimal growing conditions.
- Order Preparation: Assist in packing orders for the Native Plant Sale.
- Labeling: Properly label plants to facilitate accurate identification.
- Weeding: Maintain the greenhouse’s tidy appearance by managing weed growth.
- Watering: Ensure plants receive appropriate hydration for healthy growth.
By becoming a Greenhouse Gardener Volunteer, you play a vital role in promoting local biodiversity and conservation efforts. Join us in preparing these plants for a purposeful journey from our greenhouse to gardens across the community. Register for this event to receive more information about volunteering. Walk-ins welcome!
