Restoration Workday at the Wildlife Clinic

Help us to improve the health and biodiversity of our forest while getting to know our vast, 365 acres of protected land!
During this Restoration Workday, we will meet at the Schuylkill Center Wildlife Clinic (304 Port Royal Avenue | Philadelphia, PA 19128) to work on our stewardship plots and prepare our front garden for a new habitat planting. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to learn more about plant identification and restoration techniques while connecting with nature and other members of your community.
Details:
No experience necessary. We recommend wearing long pants and sturdy boots and bringing a pair of gloves if you have them available. We will have a selection of gloves if needed, along with tools, water, and snacks! Please bring your own water bottle. Registration recommended to stay up to date in case of inclement weather. Volunteer workdays will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather.
