Wineberry Hike & Harvest

Wineberry season is here! Wineberries are delicious, but these shrubs are invasive, so it’s up to us to make them disappear in the best way we know how – eat ’em! Join us on a guided hike to learn about wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius) and other invasive plants. After the hike enjoy a demonstration on preparation and a taste of a wineberry treat. Participants will receive three wineberry recipes: Schuylkill Harvest Spritz (with wineberries and honeysuckle), Wineberry Salsa, and Pink Dalmatian Cookies (with white chocolate and wineberries).
